Fashion Era: 1980's

Hey dolls! How are you all? I hope your week is going as planned? Mine has been okay. Yesterday I was sick,my tummy was really hurting so I had to leave school like 9 A:M.  I'm fine now though. I'm also writing a book and it's going to be called Little Town,Big Dreams. It's going to be in book stores like around September or October and I'm really excited! Thank you all for your kind words on my last outfit post, you made me feel all yummy inside. So I'm starting a new segment on the blog and it's called Fashion Era. Every week, I simply take a particular fashion era and give you inspiration on how to work it into the 21st Century. Today I'm going to blog about the 1980's.
                      The 1980's were all about super teased hair,leotards,leg warmers,spandex,ripped fishnet stocking,neon, poppy accessories and what not. One thing you can definitely say about the 80's is that it was a time of color and being very bold. It was so colorful and fun. During that time, people drew their inspiration from singers like Madonna and David Bowie. I really like that 
particular fashion era. Here are some fun 80's inspired pictures:

  3. The neon trend is a bit hit and miss for me! Some people style it amazing, and there are some really amazing pieces! But i feel like neon should be used in moderation in outfits!

    The first outfit is gorgeous! I wish i had the guts to wear neon, but i'm just to scared lol!
